“We are constantly studying the experience of other countries in their fight coronavirus, and we are applying much of it in our practice. The situation with the pandemic allows us today to think, among other things, about the modernization of the healthcare system to counter such challenges <…>. A special mechanism has been developed to accelerate the adoption of state acts. The key elements of the pandemic response in the Russian Federation are the integrated national healthcare system with powerful epidemiological monitoring and laboratory potential. Our healthcare system has a strong inpatient unit and a system of measures aimed at disease prevention», the minister said.

Earlier on our site there were already publications on the topic of how “strong” the healthcare system in Russia is and how badly it needs modernization, which the minister is only going to “think about”. Russian medicine has been falling into deep crisis, and the blame for this lies entirely on the “effective managers”, who for the last 20 years have only been doing their best to “optimize” healthcare, as a result of which doctors are dismissed and clinics and hospitals are closed. Capitalists do not care about the health of ordinary people, and as long as they are in power — free medicine will keep dying in agony.
